We love these photos from Nadine & Ian’s transit-themed wedding at Artscape Wychwood Barns. The venue was a great fit for their theme as it used to be a TTC streetcar repair facility. They even rented a vintage streetcar!
Many of the couples who choose to have their wedding at Artscape Wychwood Barns live in the community and have a special connection to the building. Ian grew up in the neighbourhood and watched the Barns’ transformation from a derelict building into a community hub. Together, Ian and Nadine have grown to love the Barns through lots of Saturday morning trips to the Farmers Market.
From Nadine:
“We knew Artscape Wychwood Barns would be an ideal venue— full of Toronto history, charm and life. We love what this place represents: history, a sense of community, families, artists, farmers, and neighbours coming together. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, atmosphere or event team. Our visits to the Farmers Market are now much more special!”
